What times of the year are classed as Low, Peak and Peak High?

As a guide, the times of the year when the Australian mainland schools are on holiday is the busiest in Victoria, consequently accommodation is in short supply and these are classified as high season and rates are generally higher. However there are no specific dates and the seasons vary from Park to Park. A general rule for the peak seasons is from Christmas until the third week in January, the first three weeks of July, the last two weeks of September and the third week on October.

Peak High is the four day period for Easter, Australia Day, Labour Day, Queens Birthday etc and low season is outside Victorian school holidays.
